So what can I add to your drinks reception?

Well to keep it simple, I will perform a versatile collection of songs to compliment the tone of your day.

Whether you want to add in a few throwbacks for everyone to sing along to or keep it easy going and chilled, I can help you create the perfect soundtrack to get the good vibes going.

I love to give my couples the creative freedom to choose their own songs, but if you prefer to give me some ideas of what kind of music you like as a couple and perhaps a few ideas from your guests, I can go with the vibe on the day!

I also work with an array of talented musicians, which means you have the option to add on a saxophonist, pianist, guitarist, or upgrade to my roaming band option!

TOP TIP: if you’re planning on booking a singer for the drinks reception, try and schedule in some time to listen to them. This is usually when you’d be having photos taken so be mindful not to miss out on your favourite songs!

ALTERNATIVE: Add on the wedding breakfast! Depending on the timeline of your wedding and food arrangements, this is usually when you’d be seated and would be able to hear all of the songs you’ve requested. This is a great alternative if you have lots of photos planned and are worried on missing most of the music during the drinks reception!

The acoustics in @the_orangery_margam are absolutely GORGEOUS! I can’t get over how stunning this aisle walk was. The timing was just perfect!

Who knew a song from one of the most iconic chick flicks of the 2000’s would make such a perfect ceremony song?

I’m so happy I was asked to sing for Mr & Mrs Bale. A few years ago, I sang at a special occasion for the mother of the groom, so it was so lovely to see everyone again! When you book me as your singer, you’re also receiving my knowledge and experience. I’ve performed at over 100 weddings, so I know what songs work for certain parts of the day. This also depends on the atmosphere you’re looking to create, so it’s worth us having a chat to see what your vibe is!

You don’t have to have an upbeat wedding breakfast with everyone dancing… although disclaimer, a bit later on at this wedding we did end up with the bride being thrown into the air and crowd surfing to ABBA 🤣

BUT if you would prefer your guests to have a sing-along and a bit of an ‘inner-party’ whilst they’re enjoying their meal, these songs are a great starting point!

And if you haven’t booked a live singer, don’t worry! You can create a playlist filled with vibey, sing-along songs and ask the staff if you’re able to have this played throughout the dinner service.

This is an aisle walk I’ll remember forever.

Jess came to me and asked for a Beyoncé song for her to walk down the aisle to. I’d heard the song before but I couldn’t remember it being on any of her albums!

Anyway fast forward to the wedding day and I became obsessed with it! It’s so romantic and the lyrics are STUNNING.
